Odisha Subhadra Yojana Portal
The state government has launched a dedicated web portal for the implementation of Subhadra Yojana, aimed at empowering women in Odisha. Deputy Chief Minister and Women & Child Development Minister Pravati Parida introduced the portal, which provides all necessary information, including the scheme’s SOP, eligibility criteria, and application process. Applicants can also lodge grievances through the portal at subhadra.odisha.gov.in.
The Subhadra scheme, with an outlay of ₹55,825 crore, will be implemented from 2024-25 to 2028-29. Beneficiaries will receive ₹50,000 over five years, with ₹10,000 credited annually in two installments on Rakshya Bandhan and International Women’s Day.

Updated Eligibility Criteria for Subhadra Scheme
To be eligible for the Subhadra Yojana, women beneficiaries must meet the following criteria:
- Residency: The applicant must be a resident of Odisha.
- Food Security Coverage: The applicant should be covered under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) or the State Food Security Scheme (SFSS). Women without an NFSA or SFSS card can still apply if their family income does not exceed ₹2.50 lakh.
- Age Criteria: The applicant must be between 21 and 60 years old as of the qualifying date. The date of birth recorded on the Aadhaar card will be used to verify age.
- For the 2024-25 financial year, the applicant must be born between July 2, 1964, and July 1, 2003.
- If a woman turns 21 after July 1, 2024, she will receive ₹10,000 per year for the remaining years of the scheme.
- Women who turn 60 after July 1, 2024, will not be eligible for benefits in subsequent years of the scheme.
Subhadra Yojana Application Form Procedure
- All eligible women must apply to receive benefits under the Subhadra Yojana.
- Applications can be submitted both offline, using a printed form, and online via the SUBHADRA portal.
- Free pre-printed forms will be available at Anganwadi Centres, Block Offices, Urban Local Body Offices, Mo Seba Kendras, Common Service Centres, and other designated locations.
- Applicants must complete the form and submit it at the nearest Mo Seba Kendra or Common Service Centre.
- If there are discrepancies between the information on the form and Aadhaar, the details on Aadhaar will be considered final.
- All submitted applications will be verified against the government database and through field inquiries if necessary.
- Applicants must self-certify their eligibility, submit required undertakings, and complete e-KYC formalities.
- The preferred e-KYC method is face authentication, which can be done through the SUBHADRA Mobile app using the Aadhaar number.
- A beneficiary may opt out of the SUBHADRA scheme, allowing the benefits to be passed on to support the empowerment of other women in Odisha through the SUBHADRA Portal.
Applicant Checklist of Subhadra Scheme
Requirements for Receiving Benefits under Subhadra Yojana:
- Aadhaar Card: They must possess an Aadhaar card or Aadhaar number in their name.
- Mobile Number Linkage: Their mobile number must be linked to their Aadhaar card.
- Bank Account: They need a single-holder bank account that is both Aadhaar-enabled and DBT-enabled.
- If an applicant does not have an Aadhaar number or there is a data mismatch, they must:
- Enroll for Aadhaar or correct the data as needed.
- If they do not have a single-holder Aadhaar-enabled and DBT-enabled bank account, they will be given the opportunity to:
- Open a new single-holder bank account,
- Link the account to Aadhaar,
- Enable DBT for the account,
- Complete the e-KYC process.
- In the financial year 2024-25, beneficiaries will receive the full benefit of ₹10,000 from the scheme’s launch date, regardless of the approval date.
