The Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Brigadier (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd), officially launched the e-Daakhil Portal for e-filing consumer complaints at the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat. The event was attended by prominent dignitaries, including CEC/Chairman, LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, Executive Councillors, Councillors from LAHDC Kargil, Advisor to the HLG, Dr. Pawan Kotwal, IAS, Administrative Secretaries, and officials from the National Informatics Centre (NIC).

Developed under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, which came into effect in July 2020, the e-Daakhil portal marks a significant milestone in digitizing consumer complaint redressal in the Union Territory of Ladakh. STEP 1: Visit Department of Consumer Affairs official website https://edaakhil.nic.in/edaakhil/.
STEP 2: On the home page go to Consumer / Advocate Section option and click on registration link.
STEP 3: User Registration page will open as shown below.
STEP 4: Enter user account information like as email id, password and mobile number.
STEP 5: Enter personal information like as name, father name, date of birth and address.
STEP 6: Upload Id Proof document and click on “Submit” button to register.

STEP 1: Visit eDaakhil official website https://edaakhil.nic.in/edaakhil/.
STEP 2: On the home page click on “Consumer Commission Section” option.
STEP 3: Login with user id and password to access your account.
STEP 4: After login go Filling (By Complainant / Advocate) option and click on “File a New Case” link.
STEP 5: Navigate to the “File Complaint” section and provide the necessary information about the grievance, including details of the issue and the opposing party.
STEP 6: ttach supporting documents, such as receipts, invoices, or correspondence, in the specified format.
STEP 7: Use the online payment gateway to pay the applicable complaint filing fee securely.
STEP 8: Review the entered details and click on the “Submit” button to file your complaint.
