Eligibility for Mazi Ladki Bahin Yojana Maharashtra
The eligibility criteria for Mazi Ladki Bahin Scheme are as follows:
- Interested individuals must be women.
- Women aged 21 to 65 are eligible.
- Previously, this initiative was exclusively for married women, but now unmarried women from every family can also benefit from it.
- Applicants must be permanent residents of Maharashtra to be eligible.
- The annual income of eligible women must not exceed ₹2.5 lakh.
- Applicants must possess an active bank account.
- Women involved in agriculture, self-employment, or other non-salaried activities are eligible to apply.
- This initiative is also available to women not born in Maharashtra, provided they are married to residents of the state and can present their husband’s birth certificate or school leaving certificate.
